Douglas’ favorite station is alongside Krauss

The lead track on Alison Krauss & Union Station album “Arcadia” is “Looks Like the End of the Road,” but it’s more of a new beginning for the band. “Arcadia” is the first album in 14 years by AKUS, which features Leavittsburg native Jerry Douglas on dobro. ‘Boeing-Boeing’ prepared for takeoff at TNT

Trumbull New Theatre’s 2025-26 season takes flight with the farce “Boeing-Boeing.” Marc Camoletti’s French farce made its debut and was adapted into English by Beverly Cross and Francis Evans. It was turned into a 1965 film starring Tony Curtis and Jerry Lewis, and a Broadway revival in 2008 won the Tony Award that year for best revival of a play. Staloff exhibition opens at Butler

An exhibition devoted to the paintings of Fred Staloff opens Sunday at the Butler Institute of American Art. Staloff (1924-2019) was born in New Jersey and was an engineering student in college when he joined the Army during World War II and participated in the invasion of the Philippine Islands and Okinawa. His experiences during the war changed his perspective and his career path. With aid from the G.I. Train show planned in Youngstown The Iron and Steel All-Gauge Model Train Show and Expo takes place Saturday at St. Mary’s Assumption Social Center, 356 S. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown.
