Downtown business owner was big help
DEAR EDITOR:
I would like to give a special thank you to Lynne Villers, owner of the Courthouse Grille.
My name is Rick Bruno and I am the mock trial adviser for Struthers High School. On Feb. 1, our team competed in the district tournament held at the Common Pleas Courthouse in Warren.
When the competition had ended, my students and I were looking for a place to grab some food before our bus ride home. Not knowing the area very well, we asked for advice on where to eat and the Courthouse Grille was recommended.
When we got there, we saw that it was closed and with the weather being very cold, we realized we’d have no choice but to go back to the courthouse and wait for our bus. Noticing that we came to the door, Ms. Villers opened the door and told us to come in and she would serve us.
My kids were ecstatic and grateful that this business would reopen its doors to serve us. We were a party of 18 people and Ms. Villers and her staff were very accommodating and responsive to our needs.
We will look forward to visiting her and her staff the next time we are in town.
