Midwest surveys damage following storms

COLUMBUS (AP) — First responders rescued more people from floodwaters Wednesday as utility crews cleared trees and wires downed by severe storms in the Midwest that unleashed tornadoes, heavy rains and flash flooding, leaving hundreds of thousands of customers without electricity. Man riding e-bike killed after falling onto roadway

WARREN TOWNSHIP — William Blair, 49, of Leavittsburg was pronounced deceased at the scene of a 9:10 p.m. Tuesday accident on Tod Avenue (state Route 45) near Eighth Street involving Blair losing control of the e-bike he was riding and falling off the bike, the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported in a 3:54 a.m. news release from the Patrol's Southington post. Liquor option in Warren fails to make fall ballot

WARREN — The Trumbull County Board of Elections certified all issues and liquor options, except one, to the Nov. 3 ballot. The board met Tuesday to approve all of the issues and all but one liquor option.
