Man gets 66 months in October police chase

WARREN — A man Brookfield police claim broke into a home and then led officers on a chase that resulted in two cruisers being damaged was sentenced Monday to 66 months in prison after being convicted of felony offenses.

Jeffery A. Jensen, 50, pleaded guilty to charges of burglary and failure to comply with the order or signal of police officers before Trumbull County Common Pleas Court Judge Peter J. Kontos.

Trumbull County Assistant Prosecutor Charles Morrow said Jensen broke into a Brookfield home on Oct. 22, 2016, and then lead police on a chase that went into Pennsylvania and back into the township. The pursuit ended with two cruisers being damaged.
