Three Dog Night booked at Packard
Three Dog Night returns to Packard Music Hall on Nov. 7.
The band, led by original members Danny Hutton, lead vocals, and Michael Allsup, lead guitar, last played the Warren theater in 2019.
Between 1969 and 1975, Three Dog Night had 21 top 40 hits, including “Mama Told Me Not to Come,” “Joy to the World,” “Black and White,” “Shambala,” “An Old Fashioned Love Song” and “Eli’s Coming.”
At its commercial peak, the band gave exposure (and much-needed royalty checks) to such songwriters as Randy Newman, Harry Nilsson, Laura Nyro and Hoyt Axton.
Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show range from $52.50 to $79 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Packard box office and through Ticketmaster. An online-only presale runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m Thursday with the password: CELEBRATE.
