High school scoreboard – Feb. 12, 2026

BOYS BASKETBALL

Leetonia 55, Sebring 21 – Ethan Mathis led Leetonia with 23 points. Dylan Johns and Jason King added 10 points each for the Bears. Sebring was led by Zachary Todd with seven points.

Brookfield 49, Southeast 45 – Blake Hammond had 28 points and four steals to lead Brookfield. Hammond knocked down three 3-pointers as well to help the Warriors pull away. Cohen Richardson led Southeast with 23 points, including five 3’s. Caden Dillon was also in double figures with 10 points for the Pirates.

Western Reserve 56, Springfield 52, 3 OT – Connor Cochran led Reserve with 23 points. Josh Klasic added 19 for the Blue Devils. Springfield was led by Isaac Asher with 14 points. Landon Dyer and Marco Gentile added 10 points each for the Tigers.

Cornerstone Christian 63, Bristol 25 – RJ McCain led Cornerstone with 19 points. K. Keeper added 12 points. Jayden Miller, Ethan Kimak, Colt Berry, and Logan Briggs scored four points each for Bristol.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Girard 54, South Range 42 – Caylee Wilkes led Girard with 19 points. Ally Gassman added 17 for the Indians, who bounced back from a 26-21 halftime deficit. With the win, Girard captured the NE8 conference championship for the second year in a row. For South Range, Gwen Lowry and Sophia Lucente combined for 21 points, with Lowry scoring 11.

Badger 52, Windham 13 – Maelyn Custer scored 13 points to lead Badger. Brinley Rice added 10 for the Braves. Brianna Lendak also contributed nine points. Windham was led by Kierrah Sanders with five points.

LaBrae 51, Niles 38 – Erin Kuszmaul knocked down three 3-pointers and scored 17 overall for LaBrae. Mariah Jones (11) and Riley Rowe (10) were also in double figure scoring for the Vikings. Ava Ferri led Niles with 15 points and Kherington Stanford added 12 points for the Dragons.

McDonald 46, East Palestine 37 – Multiple McDonald players had strong all around performances, led by Juliana Krumpak with 13 points and seven assists. Naomi Sheesley added 10 points, seven rebounds, seven steals, and five assists. Sophia Pecchia also had a great all around performance with 11 points and five rebounds. Jacklyn Ogle led East Palestine with 18 points.

Mathews 50, Liberty 47, OT – The Mustangs fended off the Leopards in a tight overtime contest. Marlee Rulter led Mathews with 18 points, while Rilee Paddock finished with 17. Danelle Coleman paced Liberty with 11 points and Andrea Reed added 10.
