BOYS BASKETBALL

Cardinal 62, Lordstown 45 — Ian Sindlear led Cardinal with 19 points. Blake Strever added 15 for the Huskies and Carson Davis had 11. Lordstown was led by Ganon Force with 17 points and Seth Chambers with 11.

Southeast 45, Champion 30 — Caden Dillon had 16 points, leading Southeast. Brayden Braham had 10 points to lead Champion.

Poland 72, Struthers 47 — Carmine Tukalo led a trio of Poland scorers in double figures with 14 points. Maddox Purins (11) and Jason Vesey (10) also reached double figures. Struthers was led by Logan Mancino with 11 points and Tyler Cole with 10.

St. John 61, Badger 48 — Gus Peters led St. John with 16 points. Three other players were in double figures, including Brody Cole (14), Jack Collins (11), and Chase Newsome (10). Jack Harnett had a game high 21 points for Badger. Tyler McWilliams added 16 for the Badgers.

Maplewood 80, Pymatuning Valley 43 — Steve Manes had 17 points to lead the Maplewood offense. Ethan Nevinski added 16 for the Rockets. Gage Cline and Andrew Donaldson were also hot for Maplewood, scoring 14 each. Pymatuning Valley was led by Justin Britton with 14 points.

Columbiana 67, Leetonia 50 — Cooper Brown scored 27 points and pulled in 11 rebounds, nothing a double-double to lead Columbiana to a win. Senator Johnson added 19 points for the Clippers. Ethan Mathia scored 18 to lead Leetonia.

Austintown Fitch 54, Howland 43 — Fitch was led by Brady Evans with 21 points, including four 3-pointers. Braeden Sallee added 12 for the Falcons. Luca Naples scored 13 to lead Howland.

Brookfield 51, LaBrae 40 — Brookfield was led by Blake Hammond with 18 points. Joe Hook added 13 as the Warriors outscored LaBrae 17-6 in the fourth quarter to pull away in a game that was tied at 34 entering the fourth. LaBrae was led by Lucas Glaser with 16 points and Austin Rowe with 10.

South Range 58, Girard 44 — Nick Toy Lee the way for South Range with 17 points. Gavin Hiscox added 14 for the Raiders. Braxton Sloan led Girard with 18 points and Camron Herrick added 12.

Campbell 62, Lowellville 59 — No stats were provided.

Ursuline 77, Cardinal Mooney 41 — Noah Bell had a game high 35 points, leading Ursuline (11-2). Bell also knocked down five 2-pointers. The Irish also got 18 points from Jaylen Gunther. Ford Stacy led Mooney with 19 points.

Alliance 73, Salem 40 — Richard Jackson Jr. scored 19 to lead Alliance. Parker Woods added three 3-pointers and scored 15 overall for Alliance. The Aviators also had good outings from Sam Hayes (13 points) and Taije Nicholson (10). Salem was led by Jack Andres with 15 points and Ty Manion with 11.

Warren JFK 53, St. Thomas Aquinas 42 — Henry Phillips led JFK with 14 points, including three 3-pointers. Preston Geracitano added 12 points and Anthony Georgalas had 11 for the Eagles. Joran Jones led Aquinas with 13 points.
