GIRLS BASKETBALL

Chaney 60, Warren Harding 58 — Alyssa Brown scored 16 of her game high 25 points in the fourth quarter, including Chaney’s last seven to pull away after trailing 57-54. Brown also pulled in eight rebounds for the Cowboys. Simmie Lewis added 12 for Chaney. Azarriah Phillips led Harding with 18 points, Akeelha Barnes had 15, and Cayden Reed had 12 points on four 3’s. Barned notched a double double adding 16 rebounds.

Poland 56, Champion 30 — Brooklyn Kosco scored nine of her 13 points in the first quarter to pace Poland’s offense. Elliana Thompson added three 3’s and 11 overall. For Champion, Mackenzie Braham scored 11 points.

Western Reserve 59, Campbell 23 — Kylee Ramsey scored 19 points. No other stats were provided.

Badger 37, Chalker 32 — The Badger trio of Maelyn Custer, Riley Thomas, and Kyleigh Hall had eight points each. Brinley Rice scored six points in the third quarter to help the Braves pull away after trailing 18-13 at halftime. Chalker was led by Riley Ashkraft with eight points, and Abby Grimm and Tatum Hudak with seven points each.

Girard 39, Hubbard 34 — Caylee Wilkes scored 14 points to lead Girard. Ally Gassman (7) and Ivory Hewitt (6) also chipped in for the Indians offense. Hubbard was led by Khamyah Howell with 13 points, Layla Songer with nine, and Aniyah McElroy with 10 rebounds and two points.
