GIRLS BASKETBALL

McDonald 55, Lowellville 29 – Cierra Shirley recorded a double double with 19 points and 10 rebounds in a run away victory for McDonald. Juliana Krumpak added 13 points for the Blue Devils. Lowellville was led by Sydney Procick with 12 points and Gianna Palumbo with 10.

Champion 56, Liberty 42 – Kennedy McKee scored 17 points to lead Champion to their first win of the season. The Flashes also got contributions from Mackenzie Braham (13 points) and Julia Boggs (11). Andrea Reed led Liberty with 17 points. Danelle Coleman added 15 for the Leopards.

Western Reserve 57, Springfield 28 – Western Reserve (9-0) remained unbeaten behind an 18 point outing from Quincy Miller. Maren Vinkler led Springfield with eight points.

Canton Central Catholic 44, Ursuline 39 – Lily Belden scored a game high 21 for Central Catholic (8-0). Ursuline (1-7) was led by Maizy Green with 13 points.

LaBrae 63, Southeast 38 – Four players scored in double figures for LaBrae, led by Ally Magoulik with 25 points. Angel Scruggs added 14 points and Ella Kuszmaul (11) and Riley Rowe (10) also reached double digit scoring for the Vikings.

Girard 55, Cardinal Mooney 17 – Caylee Wilkes poured in a game high 25 points to lead Girard. Wilkes knocked down three 3-pointers for the Indians. Janaya Riley added 18 points. Mooney was led by Julia Diorio and Cassidy Carlson with five points each.
