Howland 11, Niles 0 — The Tigers blanked Niles on Saturday in their playoff opener. Keaton Perry paced Howland with four goals, while Mitch Gentis added a hat trick. George Likaris, Aydien Brefczynski, Caden Carney and Ambrose Sergi each contributed a goal, as well. Brefczynski added two assists to go along with two from Manny Hazimihalis, while Nico Hazimihalis, Luca Naples and Perry also each had an assist. Howland improved to 16-1-1 overall on the season

Canfield 8, Holy Name 0 — The Cardinals blanked Holy Name in their first playoff game of the fall. Nick Atsas and Alex Dace each scored hat tricks to lead Canfield, while Brady Casey and Ryan Dangol each added a goal of their own. Drew Snyder finished with four assists, while Ty Novotny and Dangol each had an assist as well. Rocco Catheline got the shutout in goal. Canfield will face Copley on Thursday in the district semifinal.
