GIRLS SOCCER

Niles 1, Poland 0 — Niles (11-0-1) stayed unbeaten behind a Kherington Stanford goal. Assisting on the goal was Cali Rodgers. Grace Guarnieri anchored the Dragons defense with eight saves in the shutout win.

Champion 3, Jefferson 0 — Jackie Fields found the net twice for Champion in a shutout win. Also scoring for the Flashes was Sami Munroe. Champion got an assist each from Grayson Knoske, Abby Pattinson, and Ella Pompoco.

Lakeview 5, Hubbard 1 — Annabelle Humphrey notched three goals and assisted on one more to lead the Lakeview offense. MaKenna Doran added a pair of Bulldogs goals and Sophie Irwin added an assist.

Badger 1, Garfield 0 — Ruby Smegal assisted on a Maelyn Custer goal to give Badger (7-4) the win. Piper Dailey made five saves in goal for the Braves.

Springfield 4, Southeast 1 — Rylie Wolfe had three assists and a goal to lead the Springfield (9-2-1) offense. Kristina Vecchione scored twice for the Tigers and Maddie Page and Kimi Wylie also found the net for the Tigers. Bailey Morris scored the lone goal for Southeast (8-5).

West Branch 6, Carrollton 0 — Elli Colian scored three times to lead West Branch (11-0-1) past Carrollton to stay unbeaten. . Sammi Beatty added a pair of goals and Cambrie Nezbeth also scored for the Warriors. Nezbeth also had two assists and Ellie Tucker had three.

BOYS SOCCER

Canfield 2, Boardman 0 — Alex Dace and Nick Atsas each scored to lead Canfield (10-1-0) in a shutout win. Drew Snyder and Atsas had an assist each for the Cardinals.

Bristol 7, Mathews 1 — Wyatt Clisby and Logan Briggs scored three goals each, with Clisby having two assists and Briggs tallying one assist for Bristol. Carson Weston also had a goal and an assist for the Panthers.

Lordstown 2, Pymatuning Valley 1 — Gannon Force assisted on both of Colton Hickman’s goals for Lordstown, which overcame a 1-0 deficit to beat Pymatuning Valley. Dylan Davis recorded 13 saves in the win, which improves the Red Devils to 4-7-2 on the season.

Poland 8, Niles 0 — Andreas Tsikouris scored four goals and Poland (10-0-3) stayed unbeaten. Also scoring for Poland was Michael Hostal, Salvatore Carramusa, Renzo Tukalo, and Luka Milosevic. Hostal added two assists.

VOLLEYBALL

Columbiana 3, Leetonia 0 — Columbiana (15-1) was led by Landry Smith, who notched 14 kills, 10 service points, and four aces. Evy Rapp added 17 service points, five aces, and five kills. Eva Waller also came up big for the Clippers with 16 points, 14 assists, and eight aces.

Chalker 3, Bristol 0 — No stats were provided.

Lakeview 3, Girard 0 — Lakeview won 25-22, 25-16, and 25-20. The Bulldogs were led by CeCe DeToro’s 34 assists and Cady Esker with 12 kills.

Lordstown 3, Bloomfield 0 — Mia Giesey had 20 kills and 12 aces, as Lordstown swept Bloomfield 25-18, 25-22, and 25-19. Kaycee Was added 25 assists.

United 3, East Palestine 1 — After the match being tied 1-1, United won two in a row to get the win 25-15, 23-25, 25-21, and 25-19. Cami Kridler had 20 assists, 15 digs, and nine points for East Palestine. Destiney Burtyk added 13 kills, 10 digs, and four points for the Bulldogs.

Maplewood 3, Windham 0 — Maplewood won 25-10, 25-21, and 25-16. The Rockets were powered by Lauran Krieg with 18 assists and five aces. Addison Marker added eight kills.

Warren JFK 3, Cardinal Mooney 1 — JFK won 25-11, 25-23, 13-25, and 25-18. No other stats were provided.

Badger 3, Conneaut 1 — Badger (8-8) got back to .500 with a four set win 25-23, 25-18, 18-25, and 25-8. Sofia Sutton had 26 service points including four aces. Sutton also had 12 digs. The Braves also got 13 service points with four aces from Bri Lendak, along with 14 kills.

McDonald 3, LaBrae 0 — Halle Kuntz tallied 18 kills, eight service points, three aces, three digs, two blocks, and one assist for McDonald (10-3). Ava Salomone added 21 assists, five digs, four points, and four kills for the Blue Devils.
