Sound off!
After the LTTE heading: “Don’t be fooled by Trump’s tax numbers,” the submitter then wrote: “When will taxpayers realize that getting a refund is only getting back the money that they overpaid to the IRS?” I’d much rather get my own money back than have it go to some recipient of a wasteful government entitlement.

AI data centers consume huge amounts of electricity compared to residential and small business needs. In addition, that need demands electrical infrastructure expansion that residents should not pay for. Here’s an example. When Copperweld Steel existed, they consumed enough electricity to power 60,000 homes. They were required to pay a much higher per KW /hr rate, compared to the rest of us. Has there been a STATEWIDE bill introduced to put the burden where it belongs (AI Center owners), NOT residents?

Are we finally rid of the lousy role model named Tiger Woods? After not one, but three substance abuse incidents, take his driver’s license away! After his years of womanizing, including cheating on his wife, can we stop idolizing this guy who doesn’t know when to quit a pretend sport? People like Tiger Woods have no business being portrayed as a role model to youth and hack golfers. Just go away, Tiger. We’ve had enough of you.

Trump, wife and youngest son all availed themselves by mail-in voting in a recent Florida election. He is trying to stop us from doing the same. His candidate lost.
Trump plans on building a 250 foot Arc de Trump on the National Mall “obliterating” (his word) the view of the Lincoln Memorial. The French Arc de Triomphe is 165 feet tall. He seems to take over other people’s memorials.

I just don’t understand how people blind themselves to the cruelty of Trump. He is vile in his criticism and you just don’t think he can get anymore cruel or go lower and yet he does. He criticizes Robert Mueller’s death with a “glad he’s dead”, when Mueller volunteered for Vietnam and Trump hid behind his father to avoid the war. He knows nothing of the perils of war and what this war will do to the military and families.

For the parent in McDonald who wants her 19-year-old, special-needs adult child at a child’s splash pad, while it is nothing against special needs it is common sense to leave this rule as is. Children innocently run around, splash and play, that is how a child’s play area should be. The slightest bump, push or slash and this parent could try to turn this into a lawsuit if her adult child gets touched. This parent could buy a sprinkler for her yard or suggest a similar splash pad in her area as something designed for special needs with the proper guidance.

Wake up Warren City Council. We attended a meeting on 3/25 and we were dismayed at how unprofessional many councilmen were dressed. Council members should not be wearing tennis shoes, polo shirts and blue jeans. Council gave themselves an 89% raise, now making $21,000/year for 21 meetings, so please dress professionally, instead of looking like you’re going to a frat party or karaoke.

In response to last week’s Sound Off: No, Democrats do not want to give illegal aliens the right to vote! This is just another “alternate fact” that the Lying King and his propaganda cable news enablers promote to deflect from his crimes and power grabs. This man publicly said he loves the uneducated and recently said he purposely surrounds himself with losers, showing blatant disrespect to his own supporters, yet they continue to blindly follow and adore him.

Where were the No Kings protesters when King Biden chose his successor? No primary, no debates, no votes, no democracy. Where were the No Kings protesters when King Biden ordered people to put an untested vaccine in their body or lose their jobs?

Dear Britain, Japan and France: Please send warships to the Middle East. I made the mistake of stacking my Cabinet with inexperienced former weekend Fox News actors, billionaire buddies, yes-men and other assorted ring-kissers. What they advised me would be one night of bombing followed by Iranians overthrowing their government didn’t happen and it makes me look like an imbecile. Please help!!! Signed, The Republican King. P.S. This wasn’t my fault. The Republican Senate should have rejected my unqualified Cabinet flunkies.

If you were against foreign wars but now, you’re OK with it. You just might be a cult member. If you were against government employees hiding their identities but now, you’re OK with it. You just might be a cult member. If you were against low home ownership, high interest rates and poor opportunities for young Americans but now, you’re OK with it. You just might be a cult member.

Ursuline’s current situation: hazing allegations, sexual harassment allegations, bullying allegations, student assault allegations, administrative nonchalance allegations, teacher/coach neglect allegations. Seems like a lot of smoke not to have fire somewhere…and there’s that pesky broom just waiting to sweep away everything.

I had the greatest time tonight at the Robins Theater that featured That 70s Rock Show. Wow! Excellent singing and instrumentation from the artists. Great energy and they just played the songs-no funky changes to try to make them their own. All the band members were fantastic but the lead guitar was unreal! I forgot how guitar heavy 70s music is but this band pulled it off beautifully!! When (hopefully not if) they come back I highly recommend a very fun evening. Thank you Robins Theater!
