I got a kick out of the article by Rich Lowry, about the conspiracy theories concerning TPUSA and the Charlie Kirk killing. Isn’t Candace Owens simply a chicken coming home to roost?

Howland must have cornered the market on gifted teens. According to the Honor Roll insert of the Tribune, Howland listed 135 Seniors on the Honor Roll. Of those 135 students, 115 had achieved straight A’s (a 4.0 average). Really? That goes way beyond the normal ratio and certainly leaves all the other schools in the dust, schools that recorded more believable numbers. Makes one think that there is grade inflation, gifting of grades, and/or work that is unchallenging.

A frequent writer who does nothing but bash Democrats states the Republican Party is always cleaning up after them. She even tried to use the Vietnam War as an excuse. That was close to 70 years ago. No matter what name, this is not the old GOP. This is MAGA. Selfishness and cruelty are what they are made of and I’m being nice! If she thinks bashing Democrats will excuse what is happening with this administration, it doesn’t. Open your eyes. I did when I changed parties in 2019.

Wake up America! All of Trump’s promises to reduce costs are coming via executive orders, assurances from business executives and other methods that have no permanent, long-term savings for Americans. If Trump truly wants to help average Americans, he would pass ACTUAL LAWS that require these cost reductions long-term. To date, the only ACTUAL LAW passed under Trump is for billionaire tax cuts. He is doing nothing but fooling you into thinking he is helping average Americans.

I love it. Four kids, nine grandkids all entering schools able to read and now I see the schools are figuring out what we knew and did years ago — PHONICS and word building. Defining and using those new words in a sentence for content etc. THE BASIS FOR LEARNING. Who Knew? It seems the schools of education did not. Lots of us parents did,

It’s understandable majority of “sound offs” submitted are negative to Trump. The media reporting is 93% misleading. During Trump’s prime time affordability address, charts comparing prices under Biden to Trump were prepared by government agencies, not the White House. NBC, CBS, ABC, etc., refused to show the clear reduction in costs under Trump. Again, Democrats released pictures of Trump with girls’ faces redacted suggest partying with Epstein. Wrong, picture was Miss USA hopefuls, when he sponsored the pageant.

Newton Falls hired back some police officers with questionable backgrounds. Regardless of why these officers were terminated from other agencies, one has to ask why would Newton Falls hire these officers? Departments do not get rid of officers without a reason. Evidently these agencies thought these officers were a liability. They could very well become a liability for the Falls as well. Questionable character is not something you want in an officer, even if they are likeable.
