DEAR EDITOR:

As I watched some of the No Kings gatherings over this past weekend, I can only come to one conclusion about their cause: there is none, other than hate. What they are hoping for with their vulgar signs, goofy little furry or blow-up costumes and bullhorn shouts is 10 seconds of recognition on some, ANY form of media. Since there is no true “protest” of any kind, it shows me that their attempt at a form of self-esteem is a very poor substitute for self-respect. They remind me of the jerks that 55 years ago disrespected our veteran soldiers who were returning from Vietnam.

Since they hate President Trump so much, as their signage clearly indicated, they hope he fails. That is the Democrats’ one and only plan. Their only path back to power is betting against Mr. Trump and America’s success. The Dems have no real vision, no real leadership and no moral compass. They just wait and hope for the country to lose. They act like whiny little brats that throw tantrums when not getting their own way.

The Democrats do say they want to lower crime, but protest when the National Guard is called to make streets and communities safer. How ignorant is that? They also say they are against deportation of many illegal immigrants. But how many of these protesters would take in an illegal and sponsor him on a pathway to legal immigration status? None I presume. I call those people NIMBYs — Not In My Back Yard!

To those who say Mr. Trump divided our country, you are right. He divided common sense from stupidity, evil and mindless losers.
