Sound off!
Ursuline parents should stop wasting time and money by filing suit to have their boys play football for another school. Only three games remain. They should, instead, go after the ones responsible for this mess: the boys who committed the crime and the administrators and coaches who ignored it. If those adults had reported it in June, there would have been a different outcome. And, by the way, there are more important things than playing a football game.

MEDAL OF FREEDOM: Trump says Rudy Giuliani, Ben Carson, Roger Penske and Charlie Kirk. I say NO, should be: Deborah Archer, Kilmar Abrego Garcia, Mark Elias and James Rucker. 47 needs to spend more time on the economy, groceries and insurance premiums that are soaring. Oh yeah, the Epstein files also.

Who had the bright idea to close Mines Road while Route 46 is closed at Route 82? Do they NOT understand that you can’t get to the Eastwood Mall area with the roads closed? Oh! The TC engineer must be involved.

Although you proclaim to be a non-partisan publication, your political cartoons are so blatantly MAGA /Republican the majority of the time that I am very close to canceling my subscription. The only reason I have not is my dedication to a local newspaper. Can’t you commit to highlighting conservative foibles as well as liberals? You are only exacerbating our problems.

Historians rate Trump worse president ever. Trump’s approval rating never exceeded 50%. Trump claims jailing political opponents is OK. Trump says it is OK to cancel licenses of media that criticize him. Trump cuts tens of thousands of jobs and $8 billion in funding for green projects in blue states. Trump claims “a lot of people are saying “maybe we’d like a dictator.” Therefore: Trump wants a Nobel Peace Prize. Trump-appointed U.S. treasurer pushes Trump’s images on a $1 coin.

To all the residents finally getting their road paved on McCleary Jacoby Road in Bazetta, remember to thank Joseph Biden and his American Rescue Plan Act for the funds granted to do it. I hear Trump is trying to take credit by putting his name on recovery act projects.

Thank you to the Ohio State Highway Patrol for pulling people over for running red lights on Route 46. Niles and Howland do nothing. You never see anyone pulled over in Niles.

The time, logistics and cost of assembling the top military ‘brass’ from all over the world to be instructed to ignore the Geneva Convention and Rules of Engagement, to basically ignore their code of ethics by the inept Hegseth prancing back and forth on the stage, would be laughable if it wasn’t absolutely frightening. One new rule, they are to train the US military in the streets of Democratic cities! Authoritarian government in action. God help us.
