Judge Natale is the clear choice on Nov. 4

DEAR EDITOR:

I have had the good fortune of counting Judge Natasha Natale of the Warren Municipal Court as a close friend for a long time. Not only does she have a history of being an exceptional attorney, she is also a good person — the kind of highly principled person who shows up for others with loyalty, honesty and compassion.

Over the course of her career, Judge Natale’s dedication and skill have been recognized in every position she has held, and her record of service is longstanding. Voters shouldn’t overlook the fact that her current appointment on the Warren Municipal Court is not her first time on the bench.

Natale was selected to be a common pleas court magistrate and resigned from the position to serve the state of Ohio at the Ohio Attorney General’s Office where she was hired as an assistant attorney general and promoted to senior assistant attorney general because of her outstanding abilities and her strong commitment to justice. She ultimately made the decision to resign from the Attorney General’s office to serve our community. This choice speaks volumes about her character and her devotion to the community she grew up in.

While people may be tempted to sit out the upcoming Warren municipal election on Nov. 4, our community would be doing itself a disservice if we were not to take advantage of the opportunity to vote to retain such a well-rounded, qualified and deeply dedicated attorney on our bench–one who is guided by the law, driven by integrity, and committed to doing what is right for all.
