For those who guard our peace
DEAR EDITOR:
In quiet streets and bustling towns,
Where children laugh and dreams abound,
There stands a shield, both firm and true–
Our officers, in coats of blue.
They walk the beat through storm and sun,
Their duty never truly done.
With courage stitched in every thread,
They face the fears we leave unsaid.
A bond we ask, not just in gold,
But in the trust that we uphold.
To give them tools, to train, to grow,
To meet the needs that justice shows.
This levy is a pledge we make,
For every risk they daily take.
To stand behind their noble call,
To build a safer home for all.
So cast your vote with heart and pride,
Let honor, hope, and strength abide.
Support the ones who serve and strive —
For they keep our dreams alive.
PLEASE SUPPORT OUR POLICE!
