ORWELL — Sarah Marie Miller Kurtz, 69, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2025, at home. She was born Feb. 12, 1956, in Mesopotamia, a daughter of Andy D.J. and Lydiann Troyer Miller. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Survivors include her husband, Melvin J. Kurtz; children, Susan Weaver, Lydia Ann Miller, Rachel Byler and Melvin Kurtz Jr.; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandson; three brothers and three sisters.
