Clendon Thomas, a Hall of Fame running back at Oklahoma, has died at 90. The National Football Foundation says he died on Monday. Thomas played for the Sooners from 1955 to 1957, helping them win national titles in 1955 and 1956. He was a unanimous All-American in 1957 and a key player in Oklahoma’s 47-game win streak. He was inducted into the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame in 1995 and the National Football Foundation Hall of Fame in 2011. Thomas also played 11 NFL seasons with the Los Angeles Rams and Pittsburgh Steelers.
