Lucille A. Luoma 1939-2026

She was born Nov. 14, 1939, in Cortland, the daughter of the late Carl Leroy and the late Dorothy Friga Bayles.

Lucille was a 1957 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School.

She worked at Warren City Schools for 17 years.

On Aug. 22, 1958, she married Benjamin Carl Luoma Sr. They shared 51 years of marriage until his passing on Sept. 26, 2009.

Lucille was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband and granddaughter, Nicole, crafts and cake decorating.

She is survived by her sons, Major Benjamin (Coleen) Luoma Jr. of Globe, Arizona, and Dennis (Bernadette) Luoma of Meadville, Pa.; grandchildren, Nicole Luoma and Megan McNulty-Luoma; siblings, Andrew W. Patrick and Paul G. Patrick, both of Warren, Barbara J. Lanning of Zanesville, Kimberly Sue Bates of Kinsman and Tracy Shaner of Kinsman.

Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin C. Luoma Sr.; grandson, Sean Luoma; and siblings, Lenny Shaner and Seth Shaner.

Friends and family may call from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at St. Mark Lutheran Church. You may gather at the church from 10 a.m. until service time on Saturday.

The family requests that material contributions be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church in her memory.
