Carol Brady 1943-2026

Carol was born on June 23, 1943, a daughter of the late John Bilchak.

She was a 1961 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and married the love of her life, Harry “Ken” Brady on July 20, 1963; and they began their family together in Niles.

Carol was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family deeply and cherished every moment spent with them. She enjoyed listening to music, especially the blues, reading history and biographies, and spending time in nature. Carol treasured gatherings with family and friends, where good food, laughter and conversation were always shared. She had a wonderful sense of style and was always beautifully put together, taking great pride in her clothing and jewelry. A lifelong learner, Carol was self-educated in many subjects and approached everything she did with dedication, giving nothing less than her very best.

Carol will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Ken Brady; children, Rodney (Melody) Brady, Ryan Brady and Reagan (Kurt) Valenta; grandchildren, Jonathan (Taunya) Brady, Christopher (Kim) Karlic, Katherine (Caleb) Klug and Alexa (Adam) Yaegle; great-grandchildren, Logan and Oliver Brady, and Saundra Clarke, formerly Saundra Brady.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Donald Hacker, Joni Garrison and Jackie Bilchak.

Per Carol’s wishes, there are no calling hours or services.
