Thomas A. Dobson 1953-2026

Thomas was born Nov. 5, 1953, to Catherine Marhefkey / Pastor and Robert W. Dobson Sr. He graduated from Warren Western Reserve High School in 1973. Tom was a salesman and an entrepreneur for over 50 years. He married Mary Margaret Manusakis in 1975 and has one daughter, Mackenzie R. Dobson.

Thomas was a boxer in high school. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed playing golf with his daughter and his Tar Heels basketball.

Tom loved the Lord and was very active in church ministry. He always had a smile on his face that lit up the room and a contagious laugh. He believed in prayer and positivity. His favorite scripture was “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13. And he lived by that.

Thomas is survived by his daughter, Mackenzie R. Dobson; grandchildren, Malex K. Hoening, Hawley-Catherine J. Hoening and Harley R. Hughes; his father, Robert W. Dobson Sr.; siblings, Bob (Joanne) Dobson, Toni (Dom) DeNunzio, Kathy (Jim) Natale, Patty (Mike) Durig, Theresa (Dave) Turgeon and Jim (Kim) Dobson; and his many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Margaret Dobson; his mother, Catherine L. Pastor; his stepfather, Donald Pastor; and his stepmother, Suzanne Dobson.

A private celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, you can make contributions to the Wounded Warrior Foundation or Glioblastoma Research Program.
