Julia L. Kline 1970-2026
LEAVITTSBURG — Julia L. Kline, age 56, of Leavittsburg, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at her residence.
She was born Feb. 12, 1970, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Charles Albert Wright and Arlene Ann Jenkins Wright.
Julia lived in Leavittsburg since 2017, formerly of Wellsville, where she graduated from East Liverpool High School in the Class of 1988.
She married the love of her life, John R. Kline Sr., on May 5, 2018, and they enjoyed eight years of marriage together.
Julia loved being a homemaker, a dog mother of many animals, and a born-again Christian. She loved her dogs, doing crafts, rescuing animals, sewing, making wreaths, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, and collecting Freddy Mercury and Prince memorabilia.
Julia was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Kay Davis; and one brother, Harry “Squeak” Watkins.
She is survived by her husband, John R. Kline Sr. of Leavittsburg; two daughters, Jenna and Michael McCoy of Lisbon, and Brittani Kline of Warren; two sons, Jordan Smith (Skye Lowe) of Leavittsburg, and Johnny and Stephanie Kline Jr. of Seneca, Missouri; three sisters, Margie Henry of Arizona, Donna Watkins-Johnson of East Liverpool and Jody Kireta-Wright of East Liverpool; eight grandchildren, Harlan, Kaeden, Keoni, Kyle, Amier, Christian, Ariyanna and DJ; and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service for Julia will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls, with Pastor Mark Blakeley officiating. Calling hours will be from 5 to 6 p.m.
The family has requested that all donations be made to either Healthy Hearts & Paws Project, 909 Martin Luther King Blvd. SW, Warren, OH 44485; or the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County, 812 Youngstown Kingsville Road SE, Vienna, OH 44473, in her memory.
