Craig Smith 1974-2026

He was born May 3, 1974, in Youngstown, a son to the late Ivor and Joan Wester Smith.

Craig was a graduate of Liberty High School Class of 1992 and went on to forge a successful career spanning two decades as a dimensional inspector at ECM.

Craig was passionate about the outdoors. He loved hiking, boating and overlanding adventures in his Jeep Wrangler. As a true Jeep enthusiast, he was known for his extensive knowledge and genuine affection for the vehicle, which brought him countless hours of enjoyment and exploration. His other great love, his family, was the cornerstone of Craig’s life, and he took immense pride in his role as a husband and father.

He is survived by his wife, Christina Stambaugh Smith, and their cherished daughter, Annabelle Smith, whom he regarded as his proudest accomplishment. Craig also leaves his sister; his brother, Bryan Smith; his sister, Heather (Edwin) Baldwin; and his nephews and nieces, Eddie, Joey and Chloe Baldwin. Their presence was a source of great joy to him, and his legacy will live on through them.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Blackstone Funeral Home, Girard, with a funeral service to follow at 4 p.m.
