Leona S. Kapcsos 1938-2026

She was born Sept. 16, 1938, in Warren, the daughter of Warren Schuman and Armo Perry Schuman.

Leona graduated from Warren G. Harding High School, Class of 1956, and was employed as a press operator at Packard Electric for over 30 years.

She met Joseph W. Kapcsos and they were married on June 25, 1960; they spent the next 64 years together until his passing in 2024.

She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and enjoyed sewing.

She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl (Peter) Langan of Hinckley and Dianna Kapcsos of Cortland; and a grandson, Joey Langan of Kent.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Kapcsos; her daughter, Linda Reed; and her brother, James R. Schuman.

Per her wishes, there are no services and no calling hours.

A special thanks goes to her grandson, Joey; and caregiver, Terri Garchar, for the wonderful care they gave Leona.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
