Charlotte R. Hayden 1947-2026

She was born Feb. 6, 1947, in Warren, the daughter of Merrill and Nita Benson Hardway.

A graduate of Leavittsburg High School, Charlotte was a woman of many talents and interests. She was a firstrate homemaker who always made you feel welcome and comfortable. When she was out, she enjoyed going to bingo and bowling. At home, she was a great baker of cookies and pies, and you could find her working on crossword puzzles, puzzles and reading romance books.

Precious memories of Charlotte live on with her two daughters, Kimarie (Michael) Canzonetta of Warren and Barbara (William) Tucker of Leavittsburg; six grandchildren, Michael (Beth) Tucker, Tony (Tiffany) Tucker, Heather Canzonetta, Taylor Hayden, Rebeca (Casey) Love and Joshua Canzonetta; eight great-grandchildren: Katarina Tucker, Jonathan Tucker, Travis Howell, Robert Howell Jr., Oaklyn Stump, Colton Hayden, James Tucker and Michael Tucker; her sister, Linda Peterson of Warren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and their families, who love her and think of her fondly.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her beloved husband of 38 years, John Hayden; her sister, Patty Hickey; her brother, Terry Hardway; and her niece, Christine Hardway.

Calling hours are 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2026, and 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, where services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with Pastor Andrew Pitts of Rock of Grace Church, officiating. All who know and love Charlotte are welcome to attend and celebrate her beautiful life.
