NEWTON FALLS — A postal worker delivering mail in Braceville appeared in Newton Falls Municipal Court last week on a charge of OVI.

Michele L. Kellar, 46, of Warren, pleaded not guilty and is scheduled for a pretrial hearing at 9:30 a.m. April 2.

A Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office report states residents on Anderson Anthony Road NW in Braceville found Kellar passed out inside a mail delivery truck at the end of a driveway on March 14. The report states residents were able to wake her up before she left in the vehicle.

Sheriff’s deputies found the mail truck on Anderson Anthony Road after it was driven off the side of the road into a ditch.

Reports state deputies found the driver passed out and Kellar appeared intoxicated and had slurred speech.
