Rajesh Baji 1967-2025
WARREN — Dr. Rajesh Baji, a respected dentist and a source of constant laughter for his family and friends, passed away suddenly on Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, in Warren.
Born Aug. 6, 1967, in Hyderabad, India, Rajesh was a man who balanced his dedication to dentistry, a goofy sense of humor and his love of family and friends.
A proud member of the local community, Rajesh was a graduate of Howland High School. He went on to earn his undergraduate degree from Hiram College before completing his professional studies at Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry.
Throughout his career in dentistry, Rajesh was known for his skilled care, but he was perhaps even better known for his quick wit and his ability to find the fun in any situation. A massive fan of science fiction, especially Star Trek, he possessed a wonder for the universe that was only matched by his love for the people in his life.
Rajesh was at his happiest when he was surrounded by family and friends, making jokes and playing with the children he so dearly loved. He had a unique gift for connecting with kids, and his playful spirit made him a favorite uncle and a devoted father.
He is survived by his son, Matthew Baji; his parents, Sudhir and Sheela Baji; his sister, Madhavi Baji (Ricardo Checchi) and their children, Max and Asha; and his brother, Ravi Baji (Ann) and their sons, Keshav and Arjun.
Rajesh’s warmth, his jokes and his generous heart will be deeply missed by all who loved him. We love you and miss you, Raju, Raj, Dr. Baji.
Please join us to celebrate Rajesh’s life 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026, at Salvatore’s Italian Grill, 8720 E. Market St., Warren, OH 44484. We would love to share and hear stories from all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to your local food bank in Rajesh’s memory.
