Neil A. Rodgers 1950-2026
WARREN — Neil A. Rodgers, 75, of Warren, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2026, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital.
He was born Dec. 29, 1950, in Warren, a son of Paul White and Martha Lee Rodgers.
A lifelong resident of Warren, Neil was proud of his roots and his community.
Neil worked as a dedicated steel worker at Falls Steel Tube for many years. He was known for his strong work ethic, steady hands and quiet strength — traits that defined both his career and his personal life.
He attended Leavittsburg High School and carried a love for sports throughout his life, especially football. He was an enthusiastic fan of The Ohio State University, Cleveland Browns, the Cleveland Indians and the Miami Dolphins.
Outside of sports, Neil enjoyed watching movies, yard work — when he was able to do it on his own terms — and music, particularly R&B, jazz and rock. He also found joy in spending time outdoors and enjoying life’s simple pleasures.
Neil is survived by his loving wife, Ona Rodgers, whom he married May 22, 1976. He is also survived by his children, Tashawna D. Rodgers of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Jerome D. Rodgers of Columbus; his sisters, Trina Rodgers and Cheryle Rodgers, all of Warren; and his brothers, Randall Rodgers, Dennis Rodgers and Rev. Darryl (Michelle) Rodgers, all of Warren.
Along with his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Rodgers.
Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026, at Trinity Baptist Church. A funeral service will immediately follow at noon, with the Rev. Darryl Rodgers officiating.
Interment will take place in Pineview Cemetery.
Neil will be remembered for his strength, loyalty, and love for his family. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
The family would also like to thank the amazing and caring team in the St. Joseph’s Emergency Room and Intensive Care Units.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Road NE, Warren, OH 44483; 330-394-6200. Dedicated To Serving Your Loved Ones.
