Mitchell A. Adkins 1967-2026

He was born to Herbert Adkins and Mary Opal Holbrook Adkins on Jan. 28, 1967. Mitchell grew up in Niles.

Known as wild and crazy with a big heart, Mitchell lived life on his own terms. As he liked to say, “I travel light, and my bags are packed.”

He leaves behind his devoted wife, Renee McCormick Adkins, who cared for him until his last breath; three sons; three grandsons; and many cherished cousins.

Mitchell was preceded in death by his parents and by his daughter, Paige Cline.

A celebration of Mitchell’s life will be held this spring.

Mitchell’s life was a testament to the power of love and friendship and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
