Lenore Lubonovich 1947-2026

Lenore was born Jan. 25, 1947, a daughter to the late Paul and Victoria Costarella Lubonovich.

She graduated from Hubbard High School in 1965 and went on to enjoy various jobs throughout her career. However, her heart remained with the Purple Cat adoption, where she found fulfillment in helping find loving homes for cats.

In addition to her deep love for cats, Lenore had a deep appreciation for country western music.

Lenore is survived by her brothers, Michael “Kim” (Sue) Lubonovich and Thane (Terry) Lubonovich.

The family will receive relatives and friends 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, 2026, and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026, at Blackstone Funeral Home, Girard, with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Lenore will be laid to rest in Belmont Park Cemetery.
