Nancy R. Lucik 1933-2026

BRISTOLVILLE — Nancy R. Lucik, 92, of Bristolville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026, at Shepherd of the Valley, Howland.

She was born June 3, 1933, in Warren, a daughter of Jerome and Roma Mascio Ross.

Nancy retired from Warren City Schools as a Title I reading teacher. Teaching children how to read was her life’s passion and still remained in contact with many former students.

Nancy was very active in the Assembly of God Church. She served the Lord alongside her husband in the church, and on many mission trips around the world with Path Finders.

She was also a phenomenal cook and baker, known for her delicious pies.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Harry Lucik; daughters, Rebecca (David) Brugler and Lynne Villers; grandchildren, Benjamen (Theresa), Sarah (Andrew), Aubree (Branden) and Andrew (Lauren); great-grandchildren, Kendall, Leia, Joy and Logan, Juliette, Philip and Simon.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry, Don, Dale and Gene Ross.

Services will be held at noon on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026, at the North Bloomfield Assembly of God Church, where pastor Jason Bamar will officiate. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment will be in Brownwood Cemetery.
