Marian L. Phillips 1954-2026
WARREN — Marian L. Phillips, 71, entered into eternal rest Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026, at Hospice House in Poland.
She was born July 5, 1954, in Warren, the daughter of Sam and Irene Chonko Rizzi.
A 1972 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School, Marian retired after 30 years as a graphic arts designer, first at Warren Printing and later in Boardman.
A member of St. James Catholic Church, Marian was the consummate homemaker who could cook or bake anything. She relaxed by reading or sewing. She loved her dogs and, most of all, her grandchildren.
Precious memories of Marian live on with her beloved husband of 35 years, David L. “Skip” Phillips, whom she married Oct. 20, 1990; four children, Scott Phillips (Lauren) of Warren, Nicole Phillips of Niles, Brandon Phillips (Justine) of Warren and Samantha Nasonti (Justin) of Niles; 10 grandchildren, Moriah Phillips, Francesca Santangelo, Damien McMullen, Jayden Mezinger, Riley Mezinger, Mason Phillips, Logan Phillips, Victoria Phillips, Jordan Phillips and Olivia Nasonti; and one sister, Donna Cronin (Eddie) of Minnesota.
Preceding her in death were her parents and her brother, Nick Rizzi.
Calling hours will be 3 to 5 p.m., with services at 5 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2026, at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home. All who knew and loved Marian are welcome to attend and celebrate her remarkable life.
