Julia Ann Cramer 1955-2026
PEARLAND, Texas — Julia Ann Cramer, 70, passed away Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026.
She was born Jan. 31, 1955, in Dayton, to Steve Sabo and Mary Aloi.
The family moved to Newton Falls in 1968, where she lived until she was 21 years old. She was a prominent member of the community and forever considered Newton Falls her home.
Julie was well-known for always volunteering her time to anyone in need. As a young adult, she taught CCE and Sunday school at St. Joseph Church and was an active member in the ladies’ guild.
Julia worked in merchandise marketing and had been a resident of Pearland, Texas, since 1986. Some of the companies she worked for included HEB Grocer’s Supply, Procter & Gamble, Kohl’s and Hallmark.
Julia was preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Mary Sabo; and brother, Steve Sabo Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Mike Cramer; her daughter, Laura Cramer-Powell (Grant); her sons, Shaun Cramer (Kara) and Christopher Cramer; and her brothers, Dan Sabo and Mark Sabo (Melody). She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Trista Burton-Cramer and Lily Powell, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Anyone who knew Julie would tell you how she consistently exceeded expectations when devoting her time to others. She did volunteer work, assisted the elderly and extended her benevolent acts to family and friends. Julie was a creative individual who enjoyed reading, engaging in arts and crafts, sewing and cooking. The sweet and genuine spirit that Julie embodied was cherished by everyone and will be deeply missed.

A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 2026, with Cmdr. Shawn Coe officiating, at Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 E. Broadway St., Pearland, TX 77581.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Julia’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
