Joseph E. Limber 1963-2026
CORTLAND — Joseph Earle Limber, 62, passed away Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026, at Hospice House.
He was born Dec. 1, 1963, in Warren, the son of the late John Westley Limber and the late Cecelia Hughes Limber.
Joseph was a graduate of JFK High School and New Castle School of Trades as a master plumber. He was a loving, strong and simple man. He loved music, concerts, hunting and laughing. Joseph worked for the Warren Local 225, which later merged to become Youngstown Local 396.
He is survived by his wife, Heather St. Clair Limber of Cortland; daughters, Christina Limber and Diane (Alianna) Naeem; sons, Justin (Angie) Bechtel and Cody (Michelle) Bechtel; sisters, Susan (Dennis) Clancy and Sr. Kathleen Limber; grandchildren, Madelyn, Jase, AJ and Emma; and his faithful dog, Dixie.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John W. Limber, and his infant sister, Diane.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2026, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where Fr. Edward Stafford will officiate.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the memorial service on Friday at the funeral home.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
