Donald D. Knox 1934-2025

He was born Nov. 24, 1934, in Confluence, Pa., a son of the late John E. Knox and Margaret Peck Knox.

Don had lived in Warren since 1953 and was formerly of Confluence, Pa. He worked as a tinner at Packard Electric for 42 years, retiring in 1995.

Don married the love of his life, Phyllis Ann Glotfelty, on Sept. 25, 1954; they enjoyed 71 years of marriage together. He was a longtime member of Lordstown Lutheran Church and loved to go fishing, loved his cars, loved woodworking and loved being around his great-grandchildren.

Don was preceded in death by his parents and by two sisters, Phyllis Knox and Shirley Benford.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis A. Knox of Champion; one daughter, Brenda and John Lansdowne of East Palestine; one son, Keith and Michelle Knox of Lordstown; one sister, Carol Runge of Bridgeport, Connecticut; one brother, Gene and Kitty Knox of Warren; six grandchildren, Jordan, Candice, Dawnelle, Lindsey, Tiffany and Brandon; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 5:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 5, 2026, at Lordstown Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Steve Brown officiating.

Calling hours will be 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Monday at the church. Cremation will follow the services.

Donald will be laid to rest in Addison Cemetery in Addison, Pa.
