Terrylynn D. Reid 1965-2025

She was born May 20, 1965, in Youngstown, a daughter of Howard and Elizabeth DeVore.

Terrylynn graduated from Ursuline High School in 1983 and enlisted in the United States Coast Guard in August 1983. She was employed at Veterans Affairs Medical Center for 31 total years of federal service. She enjoyed serving her fellow veterans.

She had a love of family, cooking, motorcycling and family gatherings. She was strong in the Catholic faith and always said, “Jump the wave.” Terrylynn enjoyed her childhood growing up on Avon Street in Youngstown.

She is survived by her husband, Michael L. Reid, whom she married Aug. 5, 2005; her children, who were her claim to fame, Sean R. (Rachel) Pauley of Woodland Park, Colorado, Brittany Reid of Youngstown and Chad Pauley of Hubbard; sisters, Debbie (Guido) Arstide of Apple Valley and Peg (Greg) Bosela of Youngstown; twin sister, Marylynn (John) Herold of Catawba and Sandy DeVore of Youngstown; an uncle whom she adored, Ralph DeVore of Marblehead; and son-in-law, Brock Ronyak; grandchildren, Kendra, Cailey, Danilynne, Clayton and Tristan; along with nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Cori Reid.

Per her wishes, there are no calling hours. A private service will take place for family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in her memory.

Terrylynn’s family wishes to thank everyone for their support over the last few years in her health struggle.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
