WARREN — Judith Ann McCarty, 65, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her family, following a courageous six-year battle with cancer.
She was born Feb. 28, 1960, in Philippi, W.Va., the daughter of Junior McCauley and Thelma Brown McCauley.
Judy retired as an executive assistant for the Ohio Athletic Commission. She was a member of the General Assembly Church of God in Newton Falls. She loved knitting. Her favorite thing was spending time with her family and friends. She was a world traveler.
She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Rick McCarty of Warren; son, Andrew (Jenna) McCarty of Warren; brother, George Brown of Elkins, W.Va.; and granddaughter, Amelia McCarty of Warren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Greathouse.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025, at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, Warren.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home and again one hour prior to the service on Saturday, at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Pineview Memorial Park, Warren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
