Dave Reiner 1933-2025

Dave was born April 16, 1933, in Youngstown, a son to the late David and Lillian Vibbert Reiner.

Dave proudly served in the Army, showcasing his commitment to his country during his military service. After returning from his duties, he became a devoted steelworker and pipefitter for 32 years at ITT Grinnell and worked in the maintenance department at Youngstown State University for 12 years.

Dave found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a profound love for nature, often spending his time working in the yard or going camping with family.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Majorie Thullen Reiner, whom he married Aug. 8, 1959; and his son, David (Mary) Reiner. Together, they created countless memories that will forever be treasured.

Dave joins his siblings, Bulah, Marjorie, Genevieve, Robert, Thomas, Terry and Ernest, in eternal rest.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, at Blackstone Funeral Home, Girard. Dave will be laid to rest with military honors in Lake Park Cemetery.
