Christopher T. Allen 1968-2025

Born Nov. 15, 1968, he was the beloved son of the late William Maxwell Allen Sr. and Suzanne M. Teubner Allen.

A proud graduate of John F. Kennedy High School, Class of 1987, Christopher went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University in 1992. He dedicated his professional life to Vallourec Steel, where he worked in human resources, specializing in talent acquisition. His kindness, patience and genuine interest in people touched the lives of countless colleagues and candidates over the years.

Christopher’s passions were many and meaningful. He enjoyed cooking and baking — often sharing his creations with family and friends — along with fishing, studying history and cheering on his favorite football, baseball and soccer teams. Above all, he cherished time with his children and family, who remained the center of his world.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Maxwell Allen Sr.

He is survived by his loving children, Alex Allen, Brenden Allen and Jia Allen; his mother, Suzanne Allen; his brother, William Maxwell Allen Jr., and his wife, Toni; and his sister, Shelley Marie Allen.

Christopher’s devotion to his family, gentle spirit and warm sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

May his memory be eternal, and may those who loved him find comfort in the legacy of kindness and love he leaves behind.

Calling hours will be 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2025, at Lane Funeral Home, Shafer-Winans Chapel, 164 N. High St., Cortland, OH 44410, with a memorial service to follow at 7 p.m.
