Pamela M. Cameron 1967-2025

WARREN — Pamela Marie Cameron, 58, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025, after a two-year-long battle with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. She fought to the end to stay with her family and is now at peace with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who comforted her and showed the family incredible mercies and blessings throughout this journey. Pamela is now reunited with many loved ones, including her dog, Tilly, and close friends who have recently passed away.

Pamela was born March 21, 1967, to Edward and Ruth Kitchin of Southington, who survive her.

Pamela was a 1985 graduate of Chalker High School. Over the years, she worked at Community Skilled Nursing Home, and Ankle and Foot Care Center. She previously worked as an aide with students with disabilities. Pamela was an avid volunteer while her daughters were in school.

She is survived by her two beautiful daughters and their spouses, Lindsay and Mitch, and Shelby and Austin, and their dog, Kammie; and her ex-husband and father of her children, Shawn Cameron. Also known as “Yaya,” she leaves two grandchildren; a sister, Beth (Doug); niece and nephew, Aimee (Evan) and Gary (Lindsey); two great-nephews and one great-niece; and a special sister, Lucila Amaya, who lived with her family as a foreign exchange student.

Pamela was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, Ethel and Julius Kitchin, and Beatrice and Elmer Nedrow; and an aunt she was very close to, Hilda Middleton. She has been looking forward to the day she would get to meet her Aunt Sheila, who died before Pamela was born.

Pamela loved riding horses, camping, working in the yard and flower beds, playing cards and board games, ice skating, family picnics, holidays, eating at restaurants, cooking and playing with her grandchildren, Annie and Jesse.

Pamela tried to live her life by always smiling and making the best out of every day with a comical side. She enjoyed making people laugh.

Pamela has written this heartfelt message for those who would like a last word from her: “I believe in angels, so if you feel a breeze go by, it’s me. If you feel something beside you and are not sure what it is, it’s me. If you feel someone touch you, it’s me. Anything you can’t explain that makes you wonder, it’s me. Watching over you. When my granddaughter was first born and we would part ways, as she went home, I always said, See you soon! So this is not goodbye. I love you all. See you soon.”

The family encourages you to bring a favorite memory of Pam on a card to place in a memory box.
