Kenneth Lukehart 1936-2025

MINERAL RIDGE — Kenneth Lukehart, 89, formerly of Kinsman, passed away at 5:50 a.m. Friday, Oct. 31, 2025, at the Humility House in Austintown.

He was born March 19, 1936, in Shady Plain, Pa., the son of Reese and Hazel Christy Lukehart.

Kenneth worked for over 25 years at Valley Fabricating in Niles and later for 20 years as a delivery driver for Dean Dairy in Sharpsville, Pa.

He was a life member of the NRA and loved the outdoors, spending time fishing and going on deer hunting trips in Pennsylvania and southern Ohio. He enjoyed his guns, collecting coins, spending time with his wife at the casinos, thrift stores and listening to records. Kenneth was also an avid jogger, running in the first Youngstown Peace Race in 1977, and in his retirement years, going to the Niles Wellness Center.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Donna I. Hansen Lukehart, whom he married July 28, 1956; son, Kenneth “Butch” and Linda Lukehart of Mineral Ridge; two daughters, Karen Y. Barbe and Jody B. Fox of Mineral Ridge, and Kimberly Krancevich of Italy; four grandchildren, Michael (Nancy) McCormick, Molly (Steve) Cravalho, Amanda (Rob) Shehadi and Erin (Cory) Dement; seven great-grandchildren and expecting a great-great-granddaughter. He is also survived by two sisters, Doll Kodell of Saltsburg, Pa., and Regina Learn of Girdy, Pa.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Clair Lukehart, Merle Lukehart, Sis Reigh, Donald Lukehart and Werth Lukehart.

Calling hours will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025, at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Christopher Stark will officiate.

Burial will be in Westview Cemetery in Vernon Township.
