Geraldine T. Jones 1934-2025
WARREN — Geraldine Thornton Jones, 90, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, at Community Skilled Healthcare Center, following extended illness.
She was born Dec. 20, 1934, in Luverne, Alabama, a daughter of Boisey and Amanda Bryant Thornton.
She was an inspector at Ohio Lamp General Electric and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Survivors include sons, Gary Thornton of Columbus, Anthony Thornton of Loganville, Georgia, Andrew Thornton and Michael Jones, both of Warren; daughter, Diane Thornton of Warren; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband, Hayes Jones, four brothers and five sisters.
Calling hours will be 11 a.m. to noon Friday, with services at noon, at Trinity Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Pineview Memorial Park Cemetery.
