Aurelio J. Marinelli 1951-2025
GONZALES, La. — Aurelio Joseph Marinelli, 74, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025, at home after a long illness.
He was born Oct. 28, 1951, in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, to the late Raymond and Marsha Marinelli.
Aurelio graduated in 1970 from Warren G. Harding High School. He worked as a longshoreman in Louisiana and retired there.
He loved all sports, along with Dan Patrick, and was an avid LSU fan.
Aurelio was preceded in death by his father, Raymond; mother, Marsha; and his niece, Danielle.
He leaves behind his sisters, Ramee Marinelli of Warren, Carmen Denno of Howland, Christina (Jeffrey) Hunter of Winston Salem, North Carolina, and Catherine Courtney of Bethlehem, Pa.; nieces, Michelle and Georgeanne; and nephews, Nicholas and Charlie Jr.
There are no services at this time.
