NORTH BLOOMFIELD — Lurlene Hattie Goldsmith Everage, 94, died Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, at her residence.
She was born March 28, 1931, in Montgomery, Alabama, a daughter of Wolf The Bear Killer and Corrine Goldsmith.
She retired as a consultant at the State of Ohio Cooperative Extension Service.
She was a charter member of First Missionary Baptist Church of Mesopotamia.
Survivors include her sister, Doris Hamm of Conyers, Georgia, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Lurlene was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Everage Jr.; daughter, Beverly Louise Sledge; 12 brothers and 12 sisters; and one grandchild.
Calling hours will be 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at First Missionary Baptist Church of Mesopotamia, with services at 11 a.m.
Interment will be in Brownwood Cemetery.
