Lawrence A. Moler 1932-2025
HERMITAGE, Pa. — Lawrence Alvin Moler, 93, passed away Thursday, Oct. 2, 2025, at his residence, surrounded by his family, after an extended illness.
Born Jan. 31, 1932, in Girard, to Louis Carl Moler and Mary Ann Bizjak Moler.
Larry married Olga Marie Bahor in 1954.
In 1951, Larry enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged in 1955. He retired from Argonne National Laboratory after 29 years of service.
Larry’s hobbies included boxing, photography, bowling, golf, tennis, family genealogy and gardening.
Larry is survived by his son, Alan Lawrence; daughter, Anne Louise; sister, Phyllis Ann Moler Jobes; grandchildren, Katie Marie Moler, Eric Lawrence Moler, Jamie Lynn Moler Tripp and Kristen Marie Tripp; and great-grandchildren, Mayah and Zoie.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Olga Marie Bahor Moler; his son, Carl Matthew; his daughter, Amy Marie; his brothers, Donald Raymond and Lewis John; and his sisters, Kathleen Frances Moler Kozora and Tracene Marie.
