Kathryn J. Nichols 1945-2025
 
								HOWLAND — Kathryn “Kathy” J. Mullenax Nichols, 80, of Howland, passed away surrounded by family and love.
Born in Warren, Kathy was the daughter of the late Robert John Mullenax and Ann Mazarek Mullenax. Kathy was a proud graduate of Farmington High School. She dedicated 33 years of her life to Packard Electric, where her hard work and warm spirit touched many lives.
Kathy was married to the love of her life, Harold “Nick” Nichols, for 38 wonderful years. Together, they built a home filled with laughter, care and countless cherished memories.
Above all, Kathy’s greatest joy was her family. She adored family gatherings, holidays and every moment spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her gentle heart, sharp wit, loving nature and ability to make everyone feel special will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Kathy is survived by her sons, Robert (Tania) Nichols of Geneva-on-the-Lake and Christopher (Taissa) Nichols of Sarasota, Florida; granddaughters, Bethany (Thomas) Vasbinder of Clover, South Carolina, Alexandra (Tim) Spence of Stow, and Natalia Nichols and Arianna Nichols of Sarasota, Florida; and great-grandchildren, Parker Vasbinder and Colden Vasbinder of Clover, South Carolina, and Penelope Spence of Stow. She is also survived by her loving sisters, Linda Peltola of Cortland and Nora (Larry) Sloan of New Braunfels, Texas.
Kathy was preceded in death by her brother, Robert “Buck” Mullenax.
A service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, 2025, at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, followed by a procession to Sager Memorial Cemetery in Bristolville.
Kathy’s warmth, devotion and love for her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
