Ginette F. Sefert 1946-2025
HOWLAND — Ginette Francoise Sefert, 79, passed away at 12:40 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
She was born Feb. 21, 1946, in Wattrelos, France, the daughter of James Gilbert and Florette Suzette Demula Ingles.
She was a 1965 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and was a laboratory technician at RMI Titanium for 17 years, retiring in 2006.
Ginette cherished family gatherings and enjoyed reading romance novels, watching movies, crocheting and cooking.
Ginette is survived by a son, James E. Kennedy of Howland; two grandchildren, Tabitha (Raymond) Filipcich of Warren and Timothy James (Andrea) Kennedy of Murietta, California; great-granddaughter, Arya Gray Kennedy and twin great-grandchildren on the way. She is also survived by a sister, Germaine Dennison of Niles; and two brothers, Mitch Ingles of Niles and Martin (Pam) Ingles of Florida.
Calling hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, 2025, at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home in Niles. A private funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 27, 2025, at the funeral home. The Rev. Doug Brown will officiate.
Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
