Donna L. Stevens 1949-2025

She was born June 26, 1949, in Salem, the daughter of the late Emil Victor Jurjavcic and Betty Jane Williams Jurjavcic.

Donna lived in Newton Falls for 52 years and was formerly of East Palestine. She worked at General Motors in the final line production department for 36 years before retiring April 1, 2009.

Donna was a member of UAW 1112. She enjoyed playing bingo, watching the grandkids play sports, and spending time with her family, friends and grandkids.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Jesse Stevens.

She is survived by two sons, Anthony (Coleen) Marquette of Newton Falls and David Marquette, also of Newton Falls; one sister, Linda Ludwig of East Palestine; one brother, John (Paula) Jurjavcic, also of East Palestine; and five grandchildren, Cody, Cole, Lily, Ella and Cruz.

Cremation has taken place.

A memorial service will begin at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025, at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls, with Pastor Ken Kline officiating. Calling hours will take place 2 to 4 p.m.

She will be laid to rest beside her son, Jesse, in All Souls Cemetery, Cortland (Bazetta Township).
