Sarah A. Jennings 1937-2025

WARREN — Sarah Ann Jennings, 87, entered eternal rest on Sunday, Aug. 31, 2025.
She was born Nov. 15, 1937, in Warren, the daughter of the late Henry Mae Brogdon Anderson and Ernest Anderson.
A proud 1955 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, Sarah went on to pursue her passion for helping others. She earned her Licensed Practical Nurse Certification from Choffin Career and Technical Center in 1959.
She dedicated over five decades of her life to nursing, beginning her career at Trumbull Memorial Hospital, continuing with Dr. Joseph Logan’s family practice and later retiring in 2014 after 40 years of devoted service at Imperial (Cedar Creek Nursing Home). Her compassion, dedication and gentle spirit touched countless lives throughout her career.
Sarah found joy in the simple and meaningful things in life. She loved reading, knitting, gardening and planting flowers, but her greatest happiness came from spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Simone Baugh, and her sister, Irma Jean Edmonson.
Left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren, Denzel (Danielle) Baugh, Jermaine (Courtney) Baugh and Jalesa (Samuel) Lordi; great-grandchildren, Lilian DeFalco, Alanna Baugh, Taylor and Ava Best, Olivia and Anthony Lordi, and a great-grandson soon to arrive, Caysen Baugh; one great-great-grandson, Leon Markovich; nieces, Adrian Edmonson Green and Kiera (Charles) Anderson; and a special nephew, Monroe Jennings Jr.; along with many extended family members and friends.
Sarah’s legacy of love, strength and devotion will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
Calling hours are 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8, 2025, at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, where services will begin at 11:30 a.m. Monday, with her nephew, Pastor Monroe Jennings Jr., officiating. All who knew and loved Sarah are welcome to attend and celebrate her incredible life.
Interment will follow in Pineview Memorial Park.
